General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer

I joined Family Care Center as the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer and am excited to be part of the mission to help an underserved population. Prior to joining Family Care Center, I served in multiple roles for one of the country’s largest Durable Medical Equipment companies as General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, and SVP of Operations for the digital health business unit, LivingConnected. While there, I was also responsible for Human Resources, Payor Services, Marketing, and Licensing. I've served as the General Counsel to Senior Care Centers – a multi-billion dollar national long-term care company with multiple lines of service, including skilled nursing, assisted living and independent living facilities, as well as senior rehabilitation services, hospice and long-term care pharmacies. I've worked in law firms in New York and Texas, where I gained substantial experience with healthcare regulatory law, employment and business litigation, as well as strategic M&A management within the healthcare landscape. My professional passion is helping my clients refine their operations to improve efficiencies in a legal and compliant manner while allowing for growth and increased value to patients.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA and received my Juris Doctorate from Wake Forest University School of Law. D CEO magazine selected me as a finalist for its Corporate Counsel Awards and I have been featured in business publications such as, Vanguard, American Healthcare Leader, and U.S. Business Executive for my approach to practicing law in the healthcare space. While accolades and recognition are great, I care most about the value, we as a company, will bring to our patients. In the end, working in healthcare means more to me than a career – it is about helping others; a value I know my colleagues share.
