Dr. Justin Lincoln

Justin obtained a doctorate in psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2004. He has practiced psychology in a wide variety of settings, including mental health centers, psychiatric hospitals, private practice, and substance abuse counseling agencies. An experiential-constructivist, he believes that genuine change requires that people push the boundaries of comfort within an accepting and supportive relational environment. He has facilitated and witnessed such changes occurring in a diverse array of contexts, such as equine-facilitated psychotherapy, wilderness therapy, and the practices of yoga and mindfulness. He has worked with veterans, active duty service members, and military dependents throughout his career, and is grateful to have become involved most recently with the Huts for Vets organization operating out of Aspen, Colorado.
