Matt receisved his MA in Agency Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado in June of 1988. He received his LPC in May of 1995, and has been a practicing clinician for 20+ years. He completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Child Development and Infant Mental Health at the University Of Colorado School Of Medicine in 2007. He specializes in working with young children and their parents. He specializes in working with attachment issues, behavior problems, ADHD, children on the Autism Spectrum, and trauma. He is a certified EMDR therapist and most of his work with younger children is processed through play. Parents are fully involved in the therapeutic process, as a great deal of time is spent reviewing various parenting techniques and ways children communicate their feelings and needs.
