About Kelli

I have been married for 37 years and have two children and 4 beautiful grandchildren. My husband and I are very active. We love anything outdoors and especially bike riding. We enjoy cooking and grilling together. I spend most of my free time exercising in some fashion, outside if I can. I have the pleasure of seeing my grandchildren every week. My daughter and her husband live in Colorado Springs and have my 4 grandchildren. My son lives in Arizona and will be getting married in November. We are very active in our church and I teach Sunday School.

I received both my undergraduate and graduate studies at University of Colorado. I always wanted to help people in some fashion. Even my grade cards from first and second grade have comments from the teachers stating I am always trying to help others. When I graduated in 1986, Masters level counselors were lobbying in Denver to be licensed. In 1990 we were granted licensure and I took my licensing test in 1991. I worked at Pikes Peak Mental Health (now called Aspen Pointe) from 1986 to 2006. I worked as social worker for Volunteer of America for 5 years. My last job was admissions at Cedar Springs Psychiatric hospital for about 8 years. I started at A Family Harbor 2011 which became Family Care Center in 2016. I see adults with depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma. I am level II certified in EMDR for trauma reprocessing. I also love to work with couples and am Gottman level I trained and CBCT Conjoint therapy for couples with PTSD. I am a client centered therapist but more directive. I emphasize the therapeutic relationship. I love what I do.
