About Ken

I grew up on Air Force bases and got to see some interesting parts of the world including Germany and Hawaii. I relocated to Colorado from Arizona in ’95 and moved down from northern Colorado to the Springs in 2014 to marry my wife. I’ve been at Family Care Center (FCC) since 2015. My hobbies include pistol shooting, flying RC airplanes, and playing guitar.

While I have been interested in psychology, I decided to pursue counseling as a profession after attending my own therapy. I thought if I could be this helpful to others, then I need to pursue this. I’ve been working with couples for about 8 years, am becoming certified in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and have been doing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) trauma therapy for about 7 years. My respect and appreciation for Veterans, and their unique sacrifices, has only increased since joining FCC. I feel that incorporating one’s faith into their therapy can be beneficial for those who are interested in doing so. I am also a D.Min. Candidate pursuing a doctorate in Formational Counseling.

Why work with Ken?

Hope and encouragement begins by having someone who will listen to all of who you are, not just what isn’t going well.
