Kim graduated from Regis University in 2011 with a master's degree in counseling. She completed her practicum at an agency working with foster care and adoption, parenting skills, supervised visitation, and family therapy. She completed her internship at an agency in town working with clients in the judicial system and court ordered treatment. While there, Kim had the opportunity to work with clients who experienced mental illness and addiction. She worked with clients in all capacities; individually, as a couple, and with the client's whole family. Additionally, Kim has extensive work in the area of sexual victimization, military trauma, divorce, adoption, blended families, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Kim is currently a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor.
