About Lacy

Born and raised in Colorado, my love for travel prompted me to live in several places along the West coast as well as overseas in Guam and Japan before calling Colorado home again. I enjoy experiencing new things with my friends and family and am always planning that next adventure. Two quotes that frequently bounce around in my mind are “It is what it is” and “This too shall pass”.

As with many in this field, I was drawn to psychology in search of answers to my own experience and challenges. As I found healing, growth, and contentment I wanted to learn to help others find those qualities in their lives. I have 20 years experiences as a military spouse, with 10 of those including professional work with military members and families. I specialize in helping those with trauma, anxiety, adjustment concerns, phase of life and transition issues, relationship challenges, and LGBT+ concerns. I completed my graduate degree with Walden University, my undergraduate with the University of Maryland University College, and am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), a Certified Complex Trauma Professional (CCTP-II) and a Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapy Professional (C-DBT).
