About Dr. Geis
I grew up in sunny Florida in a Navy family prior to starting my career in the US Army. I was very fortunate to train as a psychiatrist with the Army and work with soldiers and family members over the years. I had the privilege of being deployed to Iraq in 2017 with the 21st Combat Support Hospital and will never forget this rewarding experience working with combat troops in a deployed environment.
My wife and I have been stationed at Ft. Benning, Tripler Army Medical Center, as well as Ft. Carson. Upon completion of my time with the Army in May of 2020 my wife and I decided to stay in Colorado for a change of scenery as I have never lived anywhere with true season changes before.
I am an avid sports fan and lover of outdoor activities. Colorado has been a great fit so far.
I am a board-certified psychiatrist from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with 8 years of clinical experience while serving in the US Army prior to coming on board to the Family Care Center in 2020. I obtained my medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2012. Following my medical education, I completed both my internship and psychiatric specialty training at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, HI.
