About Mary

I was born in Schenectady, New York. My father was in the Army and decided to stay and raise his family here in Colorado Springs, CO when he was medically retired. I meet my husband after high school. He was active-duty Air Force for over 20 years. We have lived in Alaska, New Jersey and back to Colorado. We have been married for 18 years and have 3 children together. I love to read, camp, cook and go off roading in my jeep. One of my favorite sayings is “life is what happens when you’re busy making other plans.” John Lennon

I obtained my Master’s degree from Alaska Pacific University in Anchorage, Alaska. I am currently an Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who works with trauma, EMDR, DBT and CBT. I enjoy working with anxiety, depression, stress management and a vast range of trauma. I have a wide range of work experience. I have worked in children/adolescent’s inpatient/residential facilities and adult inpatient. I have also worked within the crisis field (emergency rooms and community response).

Why work with Mary?

My number one priority as a therapist is to ensure that everyone seen by me receives the best care. I work collaboratively with individuals to improve quality of life and decrease distress. I am compassionate and understanding of individuals barriers and work together to overcome them. Together we can build a treatment that helps with growth and happiness.
